Mrs and Mr Pond by TardisIsTheOnlyWayToTravel Agent Coulson and a couple of the Avengers are sent to pick up a pair of civilians to act as consultants in a matter SHIELD is currently investigating. Things don't go exactly as they expect. A delightful commentfic. I love Amy and Rory and they are so matter of fact and wonderful here.

Two shorts, drabbles really, in response to the news that Jodie Whittaker is the 13th Doctor. Both made me laugh and both, I have only just realised as I read them in different archives, are by the same author!

Locks and Revelations
(or on AO3) by nostalgia Twelve and Bill are locked in a cell. Things are said, sexualities are discussed, and some things just can't be unheard.

The Future Is All Girl (or on A Teaspoon and an Open Mind) by nostalgia The Doctor meets his future self and River has ideas.

Like an Onion Inside Out (The Doctor the Queen and the TARDIS remix) by Spiralleds Sometimes endings are just the beginning. This is a remix of Falls the Shadow by be_themoon. A very enjoyable read and a satisfying ending for Susan. I was a bit puzzled about the characterisation of the Doctor until I realised this was written in 2009! However I rather enjoyed her 13th Doctor, even if he is male (the 13th Doctor is female... yey 😀😀😀).

Hanging on in a Hurricane by Lloydsglasses “What you said the other day,” says the Doctor. “About not wanting to live if you can’t be you.” “Yeah?” “I think… I think I’m starting to feel like that too.” The ending of series 10 was superb and also very emotional.  I came upon this drabble when searching for some Bill focused stories and it made me cry, it was perfect. I'm going to miss Bill and the Twelfth Doctor very, very much. This is the last in the author's Series 10 Fics and Drabbles and the others are worth a read as well.

Turkish Delight on a moonlit night by areyoumarrieddriver “But that's not possible. She was sealed into the Seventh Obelisk. I was at the Prayer Meeting. Well no, I get that it's important. An Egyptian goddess loose on the Orient Express. In space.” River, Eleventh doctor and the 'honeymooning' Ponds, oh and Spoilers of course. A delightful adventure with River in full on teasing mode and the doctor both enchanted and frustrated by her.

The Wrong Avalon by leashy-bebes Arthur's been stuck in this mysterious place for what feels like years, all invisible to the strange people who surround him. He's given up on anything changing until the arrival of a madman with a blue box. Or: All the Doctor wants is to give his friends a nice honeymoon in the galactically-renowned Hotel Avalon. Except he sort of stumbles across this medieval king who has a date with destiny and then, well, business as usual, really. An highly enjoyable Dr Who/Merlin crossover. The Ponds, the eleventh doctor and a misplaced Arthur go searching for Merlin. "He's been looking for you," the Doctor tells Arthur softly. "Through ages, across worlds... He's written your name in the stars. He's never forgotten, and he's never given up." Lovely characterisation plus fun dialogue and banter.

Tea for four by LauraB1 The Holmes parents are actually The Doctor and River Song Short, sweet and totally delightful. The sequel is Bravery of the Soldier and add Rory and Amy to the mix.

Two Doctors, a Nurse, a Detective and a Scot by writingispurdy Two Doctors, a nurse, a detective and a Scot walk into a TARDIS. Stop me if you've heard this one... A glorious, funny and totally in character Dr Who crossover, and the equally funny sequel is The Joke is Better the Second Time
